Hosted in a 1840s renovated mansion, this guest house offers uniquely decorated bright rooms with antique wood carvings. Organic Ottoman-style dishes are prepared by Mudurnu residents for the mansion’s guests. The Hacı Şakirler Konağı was renovated by the local cultural protection association, preserving its original architectural characteristics. The building features vintage furniture, wooden stairs, and stone tables and fittings. The dishes served in the common dining table are prepared with fruit and vegetables from the mansion’s own garden, and locally grown products from the Bolu’s region. The Hacı Şakirler provides a tour desk to help tourists organise visits to the Black Sea region or the nearby Bolu. The free Wi-Fi connection provided in the public areas allows guests to plan customised trips.
